Botanic Gdns field trip cont,d

Chloe's 1st field trip

Chloe was all excited for 1st field trip. Bright Start was taking them to the Botanic Gdns and even the bus ride was exciting as she was in the bus with all her friends. The guide there showed them different shapes of leaves, different textures(by letting the kids feel the leaves), and even gave them little flowers(the one she is holding is a daisy). They also got to play with the little flowers that fell like helicopters and fed the fish and ducks. The bushy plant she is holding is papirus(i think its spelt like that) which the guide said is used by egyptians to make paper with the sap in the stem. After the tour, the sat at the symphony gdns for a picnic and then chased after bubbles.

Children's Day cum Cayden's 1st birthday celebration

Brought the kids to Escape Theme Park to celebrate Children's Day and also since it was the place we brought Chloe to celebrate her 1st birthday as well. Cayden enjoyed the rides on the ferris wheel, choo choo train and aeroplane. Chloe managed to tip toe just so that she'll be tall enough to meet the requirement for the water ride. Daddy and Chloe got very wet in that ride as they were badly targetted by other peoples' water guns. They had loads of fun though.

Our favourite haunt-Explorer kids

Explorer kids is a fun play area including a big climbing structure and a corner for underaged kids(3yrs and below)like Cayden. Cayden loves the ball pit and Chloe calls the place the climbing one. Daddy's favourite Ben & Jerry's ice cream is just outside the play area too!!! It's just perfect for us except that it's really far from our home.

Deeparaya celebration

Chloe wore a Baju Kurong at her montessori celebration. They even did an indian dance!!!

A Family Outing to the Botanic Gdns

We had a great time feeding the swans today.
